The Wharfedale Pro WLA-218SUB Passive Subwoofer is a dual 18″ passive subwoofer designed to deliver extreme low-frequency impact for large-scale touring and high-output installation environments.

Equipped with two Wharfedale Pro 18″ LF drivers featuring massive 4.0″ voice coils, WLA-218SUB delivers powerful, controlled bass with a maximum SPL of 138 dB @ 1 m. Its dual-chamber cabinet design enhances efficiency and reduces distortion, while cast aluminium driver frames ensure mechanical stability under high-output conditions.

Flexible operation is supported via Parallel and Discrete modes: Parallel delivers a 4 Ω load for full-output performance, while Discrete mode allows each driver to be powered individually at 8 Ω for more advanced system configurations.

Constructed from 18 mm birch plywood with extensive internal bracing, WLA-218SUB is built for durability and sonic integrity during prolonged high-volume use. Ideal for ground-stacked deployment, it provides a solid foundation for any WLA system.
