The Wharfedale Pro TYPHON-AX15-BT Active Speaker is a 15″ bi-amplified active loudspeaker from our TYPHON-AX Series, designed to deliver outstanding power, clarity and projection for professional live sound and installation use — now with integrated Bluetooth connectivity.
Powered by Class D amplifiers, it delivers 770 W continuous and 1540 W peak output with a maximum SPL of 130 dB at 1 m. A custom Wharfedale Pro 15″ LF driver with a huge 3.0″ voice coil pairs with a 1.75″ HF compression driver — the largest in its class — producing deep, controlled lows and crisp, detailed highs with remarkable definition.
Housed in a robust polypropylene cabinet with a full steel grille, Typhon-AX15 is IP54 Certified for protection against dust and moisture. With an internal 4-position DSP, multiple rigging points and integrated handles, it’s built for reliability and performance on stage, on the road or in permanent installations. Pair it with a T-SUB-AX for a perfectly matched low-frequency extension.
