Rockschool Vocals 2021 GD2

A Rockschool Vocal Grade will not only improve your singing ability, but expand your technical proficiency, grasp of music theory and appreciation of some of the most influential songs from the past five decades. As a student of music, you will improve your chances in auditions and competitions, whilst elevating your ability to write your own songs in the process.

Vocals Grade 2

At Vocals Grade 2 you’ll focus on the mechanics of professional vocal performance, from tone and dynamics to chest voice and small intervals. Then your skills will be tested in three short performances (five for performance certificate) of a range of Rockschool compositions and your choice of repertoire.

The 2021 syllabus comprises of ten ‘hit tune’ arrangements, benchmarked and devised so as to equip contemporary Vocalists with industry-relevant skills in any performance environment. Students can sing any selection of pieces when performing in their exam (three pieces for graded examinations, five pieces for performance certificates).
