Ibanez AZES40 – Purist Blue

The Ibanez AZES40 is an AZ series solid-body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2021. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the new AZES series line. Or AZ Essentials yet another expansion to the series.

The Ibanez AZES40 features a poplar body and has a maple neck with a Jatoba fingerboard & white dots inlays. Its 25-inch scale length is slightly shorter than your average electric, which Ibanez says could be ideal for young learners.

Pickups include an Accord Humbucker – passive/ceramic on the bridge and a pair of Ibanez Essentials ceramic single coils, on the middle and neck, routed to Strat-style controls. With the Alter switch turned on, you can access series-connected voices and more. Also, include a T106 standard tremolo on the bridge w/ Comfort round Steel saddles.
