Tama Starclassic Turquoise Pearl

The Tama Starclassic Maple MR42TMVS in Turquoise Pearl is a 4-piece professional-quality shell set with a 22″ bass drum including rosette, 10″ and 12″ tom toms and a 16″ floor tom. Starting with drum shells made of finest maple wood and hardware in chrome finish up to the extraordinary and robust “Turquoise Pearl” wrap finish, the Tama Starclassic Maple series shows itself professionally down to the last detail and scores with extraordinary high quality standards.

Heads from Evans

The heads for the Starclassic Maple Drums are from the Evans G2 (drum heads), G1 (resonance heads) and EQ4 (bass drum) series. They are tuned with high quality cast iron hoops, which, like the rest of the shell hardware, have a noble chrome finish. The Tom Toms are suspended almost vibration neutral with the help of the Star Cast mounting system.

Toms and Floor Tom with Quick-Lock brackets

Both Tom Toms and the Floor Tom come with Quick-Lock brackets and allow a particularly fast and uncomplicated assembly and disassembly. Thanks to the bass drum rosette, the two tom toms can be mounted directly above the bass drum without the need for additional tom stands. The Floor Tom feet have air cushions that allow the Floor Tom to develop its full resonance potential. For tuning stability, all tension rods are equipped with Tama Hold Tight washers.

Shell hardware in chrome finish

The shell hardware in the form of lugs, cast iron hoops and Star-Cast tom suspension comes completely in chrome finish and gives the Starclassic Maple Drums a noble and exclusive appearance. All hardware parts are underlaid with rubber padding to optimize the resonance of the shells.
